26 August 2010 - The Beckford Arms suffered a major fire on the 16th July 2010. Fortunately, all of our guests were safely evacuated and no one was injured. We are now pleased to report that the reconstruction process has begun with partial demolition of the site. We anticipate that we will be re-open by spring/ summer of 2011. Rooms & Rates
All eight bedrooms are fitted out with flat screen TVs and DVDS (guests can borrow discs from our movie collection) and iPod docking stations.
Crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down duvets and Vintage Welsh blankets adorn the beds whilst a comfy armchair sits on the natural seagrass floor.
All bedrooms are ensuite with a bath, shower or both. Within the bathrooms we use our own range of handmade natural bath and body products under the Bramley brand name. These are for guests use and are available to purchase to take home, at the bar.
To pamper yourself, our in-house masseurs are available if booked in advance of your stay. Angela Parsons, specialises in Raynor & Aromatherapy massage and is also fully qualified personal trainer. Anouchka practices Theravada Thai Massage and is also a personal trainer. Read more

Art
Art in the bedrooms and upstairs hallways is by local artist and friend of The Beckford, Zebedee Helm whose pictures are for sale. The Cedar Tree paintings are by one of Cornwall’s best loved artists Jeremy Le-Grice and cousin to one of The Beckford’s owners. Paintings of local Wiltshire landscapes are by friend and local artist Lucinda Storm.
