26 August 2010 - The Beckford Arms suffered a major fire on the 16th July 2010. Fortunately, all of our guests were safely evacuated and no one was injured. We are now pleased to report that the reconstruction process has begun with partial demolition of the site. We anticipate that we will be re-open by spring/ summer of 2011. Auction of Promises and Boules Tournament
Please join us on the 14th July for an acution in aid of local charities and to celebrate Bastille day a boules tounament on the piste. A barbecue will complete what promises to be a great evening.

Movie Night
On Sunday nights we show an old movie in the Sitting Room. With two huge sofas you can watch with comfort food such as a fish pie or a meaty shepherd’s pie. Other regular events are also planned.

We can host weekday weddings (the lovely Holy Trinity Church in the village is just a stone's throw from the pub), birthdays, shooting parties, cricket teams or any special event.
Private Dining
For hosting special events, a curtained off library with a large dining table, that seats up to 12, and low armchairs with a coffee table. See lunch menus for typical private dining menus.
