Room Facilities

All eight bedrooms are fitted out with flat screen TVs and internet radios (only 10,000 stations!) with iPod docking stations. We also have two stunning lodges a walk away from the pub making an additional two rooms.

Crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, Siberian goose down duvets and Vintage Welsh blankets adorn the beds whilst a comfy armchair sits on the natural seagrass floor.

All bedrooms are ensuite with a bath, shower or both. Within the bathrooms we use our own range of Bramley handmade natural bath and body products. These are for guests use and are available to purchase to take home, at the bar.

To pamper yourself, we have an in-house masseur, Anouchka who practices Theravada Thai Massage and is also a personal trainer and yoga instructor.

This has a restricted view across the roof towards the garden. It has a double bed and a very small bathroom with a shower. It is our cheapest room but is  comfy and cozy!

Room 7 (large double)

This looks out to the front of the building, towards The Fonthill Estate and has a king-size bed and a fabulous freestanding cast iron roll-top bath. There is a separate en-suite shower.

The Attic (large double)

The new Attic rooms are ideal for a family with a small double bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and small separate bedroom which can sleep up to two children. Views are lovely, towards the garden.

Cots and child beds

We have travel cots which you are welcome to use for no extra charge.

Rooms 1 and 2 interconnect and so are great for families and the new Attic Rooms have a separate small bedroom for up to two children and a small Sitting Room. We make an extra charge of £25 for children over the age of 3 staying in the Attic Rooms to cover laundry and breakfast.

Dogs policy

We are dog lovers and the pub even has its own called Elsa. However in the bedrooms we only allow well behaved dogs in room 6 – we also make a small charge for extra cleaning of £10. This room has a wooden floor instead of a carpet. We would love to allow dogs in all the rooms (particularly for shooters) but however thorough our housekeeping is (and we are VERY thorough!) one small hair could be left and this can cause complaints from guests without dogs.

Dogs are allowed in all the public areas downstairs and we provide water and bones where desired!

Sitting room

The sitting room is available for guests as well as locals, with two huge comfy sofas, armchairs, fireplace, DVD projector and screen which on Sunday nights we show a classic movie on. A selection of daily papers, monthly magazines and books from the library are also available to read in the bay window overlooking the Fonthill Estate.
