26 August 2010 - The Beckford Arms suffered a major fire on the 16th July 2010. Fortunately, all of our guests were safely evacuated and no one was injured. We are now pleased to report that the reconstruction process has begun with partial demolition of the site. We anticipate that we will be re-open by spring/ summer of 2011. About Us
The Beckford Arms is a traditional country pub located on the edge of the rolling parkland of the Fonthill Estate in south Wiltshire just off the A303 - only twenty minutes from
Stonehenge or Salisbury and under two hours from London by car or train.
The pub has a main bar, restaurant, sitting room, a private dining room in the library, eight bedrooms, and a large garden and terrace.
