Located just a 10 minute drive from The Beckford Arms in Wardour, you’ll find a historic, 4th century tower house. Here you can explore the English Heritage site, tour the gardens & grotto, or take the Wardour walk through the woodland and lake. A wonderful place to take the family & just a stone’s throw from us.

The Fonthill Estate
The Estate, which is ten thousand acres and right on our doorstep, consists of farmland, woodland and formal gardens. Whilst visiting you will not only be able to see the outstanding natural beauty of the Estate, but also its incredible history and all the activities that take place within it.
Salisbury
Salisbury is a medieval city, just nine miles south of Stonehenge. The City boasts stunning architecture, an array of independent shops and a thirteenth-century cathedral with the tallest spire in Britain. Salisbury is also home to the best-preserved of only four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta.
